Blade Rod – CBR900 RR

The other day, on my daily blog/forum browsing, I was reading NoriYaro when I noticed Alexi mentioned a bike project that I had read about years ago. That bike was the Blade Rod, a custom 1998 Honda CBR900RR built by Mark Boxer, one of the people behind the new drift & stunt DVD Phat Sliggity.

Head to http://www.bladerod.com/ to see more. Or click here to visit the build gallery, with captioned pictures of the process.

Whoops, looks like a few of those images are down (all but the first one). That bike looks a bit low for daily riding, it’s almost a cruiser-rocket.

I’m totally digging the paint scheme. More people need to go with “sinister black” if you ask me. Is this the first bike build you’ve featured? Have I missed an older one at some point?

Damn that sucks, I’ll save the images and upload them myself instead of linking them. I’ve featured another bike and a Ruckus scooter, links below.
