Recently I created a new post tag called “People who get it”, for those occasions where an owner or builder will put extra effort into their threads to make for an enjoyable and informative read. But where to from there? Is that as good as it gets? Is it possible to take it a step further than slick photos and well-structured posts? Yes, my friends, yes it is. Let me introduce you to Wil and his foray into the roadster life. Wil decided to document his new found obsession in a light-hearted comic-book style format, much to the delight of his audience. Is this the future of build threads? I can’t wait to see what other ideas people come up with, the bar has been set!

Here’s a vehicle type I’ve never featured before, a trike! Greg & Jeff from RX8club.com emailed me this crazy creation a while ago, definitely something worth checking out especially when you consider it’s going to be rotary powered and supercharged. Greg is actually involved in the build and is responsible for the slick prototype drawings. A scratch-built creation, thinking completely out of the square, this isn’t something you’ll come across every day.

The generous parts interchangeability offered to enthusiasts by Nissan is a beautiful thing, from the old Datsun days to the cars of the present, it’s as if the bean-counters at head office have always secretly been catering to the people who love to modify by transforming the local spare parts counter into a virtual buffet.

Here we have a true diverse mix of the Nissan bloodline. Take one S15 Silvia, the front bodywork from a 180SX, an RB30 bottom-end/RB26 head, a supercharger, stir vigorously, and this is what you get…
